| Call
for Manuscripts
Submitting manuscripts. Potential authors are encouraged to examine previous issues of JLR for topics and style of presentation. All manuscripts must be submitted in electronic format (MS-Word or compatible format) as an attachment to jlr@msu.edu; authors should include a cover letter. All references to the authors should be deleted, except for the title page. The title page should include name, address, phone number, fax, and e-mail address of the first (or contact) author. A one-paragraph abstract limited to 250 words should accompany all submissions. Additionally, please do not embed graphic files. Graphics, charts or tables created outside of MS-Word or imported into Word should be saved in grayscale and included as separate files to enable editing or resizing. Authors will be notified of receipt of their manuscripts within two weeks of their arrival and can expect to receive the results of the review process within three months. At the present time, it is anticipated that manuscripts will be published within nine months of their acceptance.
